· Electrical contracting in Berlin Marzahn-Hellersdorf — since 1993

Power that is planned, built and tested.

ELTRA plans, installs and tests electrical systems — for industry, commercial property and housing. From the consumer unit in a flat to the low-voltage switchgear that supplies an entire business park. We work to the applicable DIN/VDE rules, and we document what we do.

· Services

Services

Planning, installation, testing and maintenance — power and low-current systems as well as automation. New installations as readily as extending and repairing existing ones.

  • Electrical installation

New installations and extensions in industrial plant, production sites, commercial property, residential and mixed-use buildings, educational facilities and office complexes. Supply, assembly, testing, commissioning and trial operation from one contractor.

  • Renovation: prefab, period and family homes

Bringing the electrical installation of an existing building up to today's standard — prefabricated (Plattenbau), period and single-family homes, including complete rewiring of individual flats.

  • Planning to HOAI

Basic evaluation, preliminary, concept, approval and detailed design; bills of quantities, CAD construction drawings, support during tendering, plus site supervision and aftercare.

  • Testing of electrical installations

Testing of fixed and portable equipment and of electrical installations to DGUV Vorschrift 3 (formerly BGV A3) — preparation, execution, evaluation, documentation and labelling of equipment (E-Check).

  • Switchgear and distribution boards up to 630 A

Individual engineering design, workshop assembly and testing of low-voltage switchgear, distribution and control assemblies — for our own installation work and for third-party electrical contractors and machine builders.

  • Data networks and communications

Copper and fibre-optic data networks, communication systems, door-entry intercoms, video and security installations, plus BK and satellite antenna systems.

  • Electric heating and trace heating

Electric central and night-storage heating, electric water heating, and electrical trace heating for pipework and gutter systems.

  • Repairs, breakdown service and decommissioning

Repair and breakdown service for electrical installations and systems, plus de-installation and removal, including proper recycling and disposal.

· Testing

Tested, documented, labelled.

Illustrative image

Electrical installations and equipment have to be tested at intervals — fixed installations as much as every appliance that can be carried. ELTRA prepares the inspection, carries it out, evaluates it and documents the result. Tested equipment is labelled.

The basis is DGUV Vorschrift 3 (formerly BGV A3, the German accident-prevention rule for electrical installations and equipment). For businesses, landlords and owners the inspection is not a formality — it is the evidence that the installation was sound, and that is what counts when something goes wrong.

  • Testing of fixed electrical installations
  • Testing of portable equipment (E-Check)
  • Evaluation and written documentation of the results
  • Labelling of tested equipment
  • Repeat testing of existing installations, inspections and re-commissioning

· For owners and landlords

The Strom-Check

Four questions every owner and every landlord should ask once. *Strom-Check* — an electrical safety review.

  1. Do you still know when your electrical installation was last checked for safety?
  2. Is the supply still adequately rated for today's household appliances?
  3. Do the protective measures — particularly in the bathroom and kitchen — still meet the DIN/VDE rules?
  4. Have tenants altered the installation, and does that work comply with the current rules?

As a landlord, liability rests with you if something happens. We look at the installation and tell you what needs doing.

· Our own workshop

Switchgear, distribution and control assemblies up to 630 A

We design and build low-voltage switchgear, distribution boards and control assemblies in our own workshop: individual engineering design, assembly from components chosen for the job, and testing before delivery. We build for our own installation work — and as a supplier to other electrical contractors and to machine builders.

· For companies

Technical responsibility and technical representation

Not every company employs its own responsible electrical engineer. ELTRA takes on that role — permanently, or for a single project.

Technical responsibility

  • Instructing the company's own qualified electrical staff
  • Technical acceptance of investment and repair work
  • Drafting the measures required to comply with the accident-prevention rules
  • Drafting the measures required for investment and reconstruction projects
  • Preparing expert reports

Technical representation towards

  • the electricity network operator
  • the Berufsgenossenschaft (statutory accident insurer)
  • the technical inspection authority (TÜV)

ELTRA is a registered installer in the installer register of the Berlin network operator, with guest registrations held with further relevant network operators.
